Project title: FADet: Self-driving Car with a Multi-sensor 3D Object Detection Network
Description: Since currently LiDARs, cameras and radars are optimal solutions for autonomous driving perception tasks, DNN-based sensor fusion is an important milestone to achieve universal yet robust performance of prediction for 3D Object Detection. Car provided by Integrant company is equipped with LiDARs, global shutter cameras and GPS sensor. Intern will have the opportunity to make the experiments of the developed algorithms on SLAM, path planning, and object detection on self-driving car Self.AI on the roads of Skolkovo.
Candidates requirements: ➔ basic programming knowledge in Python or ROS or Gazebo
