Project title: Eurobot: Farming on Mars

Description:
Eurobot is international contest of autonomous Robots. Skoltech Eurobot Reset team in the 7^th time Champion of Eurobot Open Russian, and Vice-champion of Eurobot World in France in 2019. The topic of this year is “Mars farming” when robots must to ensure that the autonomous greenhouse already in place survives long enough for our astronauts to be able to harvest fruits and vegetables, and then survive. Autonomous robots collect plants, relocate them, control solar panels, and predict the harvest. The robots are equipped with LiDARs, cameras, omni-wheels, Maxon motors, stepper motors, to achieve high quality mapping, localization, and path planning on the play area of 2x3 meters. The research will focus on the algorithms for navigation of autonomous robots, programming in ROS, and writing Behavior Tree.

Candidates requirements:
➔ basic programming skills in Python or ROS / Gazebo
