Project title: Development of a Stand for Measuring the Moment of Inertia Tensor of a Small Spacecraft (SSC) in Launch and Flight Conditions
Description:
Join the Advanced Microsatellites Laboratory (AMSL) and gain practical experience in mechanics and electronics. Develop a real measuring device that will be used to measure the actual inertia tensor of the small spacecraft currently under development. As an intern, you will work on the development of the stand from start to practical implementation. The project involves creating a team of enthusiasts like yourself, with role distribution. Everything will be taken seriously! Tasks include searching for analogs, literature review, project creation, selection or development of stand components, programming microcontrollers, PC programming, working in CAD, manufacturing electronics, working with sensor equipment, developing mathematical software, assembly, debugging, testing, and bringing it to operational condition. This project is not a one-time endeavor. Improvements and enhancements based on operational results, as well as the creation of a second generation of the stand!
Candidates requirements:
➔ Programming in any programming language for writing software for PCs (for PC programmer)
➔ Ability to work in any CAD software (for mechanical engineers)
➔ Basic skills in digital and analog electronics (for electronics specialist)
➔ Programming in C++, C for microcontrollers (for microcontroller programmer)
Knowledge of English is not required.
