An intern is required for a project titled "Advanced methods for quantum many-body dynamics"
Project title: Advanced methods for quantum many-body dynamics
Supervisor: Leading Research Scientist Oleg Lychkovskiy
Annotation: This is a project in quantum many-body theory. We develop advanced techniques for nonperturbative description of quantum many-body dynamics, with the focus on the recursion method. Our approach blends cutting-edge theoretical tools enhanced by computer algebra calculations. The project is supported by the Russian Science Foundation. More details can be found on the project description webpage.
Duration: 1-2 months
The start date of the internship is discussed with the candidates, but should start no later than July 1, 2024.
Candidate requirements: The knowledge of linear algebra and quantum mechanics are compulsory.
The knowledge of or interest in some of the following topics are welcomed: ➔ condensed matter theory ➔ complex analysis ➔ orthogonal polynomials ➔ computer algebra (symbolic calculations) ➔ parallel computing
We are more than happy to meet visitors Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00. Please arrange a visit 48 hours in advance by contacting admissions@skoltech.ru
