An intern is required for the project titled "New catalysts for turquoise hydrogen"
Project title: New catalysts for turquoise hydrogen
Supervisor: Assistant Professor Dmitry Krasnikov
Project description: The project relates to one of the key global challenges in energy transition, namely, reduction of CO2 emissions. Here we develop a more clean and industrially feasible technology for direct methane pyrolysis to obtain so-called turquoise hydrogen. This is an experimental work; it relates to aerosol spray pyrolysis of mixed oxides for methane conversion (student will get acquainted with aerosol spray pyrolysis, fixed bed CVD).
Internship duration: 8-9 weeks
The start date of the internship is discussed with the candidates, but should start no later than July 1, 2024.
Candidates requirements: ➔ knowledge of physical chemistry ➔ ability to work in a team ➔ thirst for adventure :)
