An intern is required for the project titled "Development of electronic circuit for stable operation of perovskite solar cell"
Project title: Development of electronic circuit for stable operation of perovskite solar cell
Description: Perovskite solar cells is a new photovoltaic technology that has a great potential for commercial application. Current records in power conversion efficiencies has reached 26%. The actual problem that is still to be solved before technology commercialization is improving operation lifetime of the device. This project aims at development of a reliable electronic circuit for the prepared solar cell with the specified characteristics. The student will work on the selection of the circuit elements (dc-dc converters, battery, diods, capacitors) that will allow to gain maximum power output from the solar cell with minimal losses caused by the circuit.
Candidates requirements: ➔ electric engineering or electronics background is highly demanded
Supervisor: Research Scientist Aleksandra Boldyreva
Internship duration: from 3 months depending on work load
The start date of the internship: preferable from September 2 (negotiable)
