Project title: AI Toolbox for an advanced system for the visual inspection of structures

We are seeking motivated interns to join our AI Toolbox project focused on enhancing structural damage identification in aircraft using computer vision. This initiative aims to complement inspectors' work, ensuring accurate, data-driven decisions for aircraft maintenance and safety.
As an intern, you will work in the Cyber-Physical Systems Laboratory of the Center for Digital Engineering on:
➔ Dataset Construction: Gather and curate high-quality datasets for training and validating computer vision models.
➔ Computer Vision Algorithm Development: Develop algorithms to identify and classify structural damages in aircraft.
➔ Machine Learning for Damage Assessment: Create machine learning models to assess damage criticality and generate data-driven maintenance recommendations.
Ideal candidates should have a strong background in computer vision, machine learning, and a passion for aerospace engineering.
